Dr. Kate CornickDr Kate Cornick is the CEO of LaunchVic, the Victorian Government’s lead startup development agency. Kate is deeply passionate about the role of innovation in our economy and society more broadly, and has considerable experience in technology innovation across start-ups, academia, corporates and government. Most recently, Kate led the development of human resources technology start-up Rision Ltd, creating new products, partnerships, sales and ultimately a listing on the ASX. Kate sits on a number of boards including the Victorian Government Innovation Expert Panel, The Charles Sturt University Council and the AIIA Victoria Council.

Trevor Townsend
Managing Director Startupbootcamp Energy Australia Trevor Townsend has an extensive background in Melbourne as an Investor, Director and Founder. He was the Managing Director, Australasia at TIBCO Software, a Silicon Valley startup which listed on NASDAQ in 2004, and designed the first wholesale energy software trading system in Australia during this time.
He also has over 15 years of angel investing experience with numerous exits including ASX listings. The Startupbootcamp Energy Australia program is headed by Trevor as Managing Director. Professor Colin McLeod
Academic Director Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship, University of Melbourne Colin is a Professor at the Melbourne Business School where he is also the Director of the Master of Entrepreneurship program and the Academic Director of the Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship.
He is a Director/Investor/Co-founder of early stage companies in retail technology, education technology, wireless technology and wearable biotechnology and several of these companies have expanded internationally to San Francisco, Berlin, Manchester, India and Africa. His business career includes senior executive roles at Telstra, Goldman Sachs JBWere and the Australian Football League. Colin holds a BA, an MBA and a PhD with the Commercialisation of Innovation as the topic of his doctoral thesis and he has held appointments at University of California – Berkeley and the University of Cambridge. Colin was also a member of the Executive Committee that raised almost $200 million the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre and is a member of the AFL Research Board.

Federico Bettini,
CEO AzioOn Australia Federico is currently Chief Executive Officer at Aizoon Australia, he has a Ph.D with the University of Bologna. His professional experience ranges from large multinational corporates through to applied research and commercialisation in Europe and Australia, including roles with McCain, George Weston Foods and Lion Co.

Jason Lim
Chief Of Staff YBF Ventures Jason is the Chief of Staff at YBF Ventures. Over the last six years with YBF Ventures he has been an investor and advisor to startups, and is an Entrepreneurial Fellow at the University of Melbourne as an alumnus of the Melbourne Accelerator Program.
