ABOUT SENSO IMMERSIVE
Senso Immersive Experience is an innovative company founded by Mick Odelli in 2015. It was created from the synergy between immersive media, design, and architecture.
A laboratory full of visionary ideas, created as a spin-off project of DrawLight, which aims to innovate the museum, retail, wellness and food & beverage sectors.
Senso gives life to immersive experiences that are able to excite and stimulate precise states of mind, all thanks to a neuroscientific approach, aimed at understanding the mechanisms that control human behavior and perception. The Studio’s creations and productions are based on the synergy between this rigorous and fundamental method and a creative vision that also keeps technical design in mind.
With continuous updates on the latest technological trends, two innovative patents were designed and developed in Senso’s R&D department:
1. TECA and SCRIGNO: exhibitors with a technological soul that can be customized in shape and finish. Through a specially designed and hidden projection system, TECA and Scrigno can allow any product to describe and illustrate its own story and, thanks to the support of an App, the user can modify live its colors, characteristics, and finishes.
2. VEDO: an innovative system of dynamic projections that can allow the user to choose between various atmospheres, allowing himself to be wrapped up and transported in a unique sensory and emotional experience. All just a click away with a smartphone app.
The VEDO application gave birth to:
- ONDA an immersive installation permanently situated in the entrance tunnel of the nhow
Milano Hotel in Via Tortona, a cornerstone, and soul of Milan design. - VEDO THERAPY an experience of innovative wellness that blends immersive atmospheres and new technologies with a rigorous neuroscientific approach. An exemplary case study is Plaza Sensory Pool.
The studio has also created ICONA DI DONNA, a LED sculpture that is over 12 meters tall, unique in the world for its form and size, heart and symbol of the project of the Fashion Research Italy Foundation.
Senso has achieved the 3rd place out of nine hundred innovative Italian start-ups at the Unicredit Start Lab contest under the “Innovation Made in Italy” category. In 2017, the Italian Embassy commissioned Senso to Tokyo to represent the fabric of Italian startups at Tokyo Innovation Day and was invited to hold several conferences at the most famous Italian universities including Bocconi University, Milan Polytechnic University and IUAV of Venice.
